South Africa’s pride and delight, the Ndlovu Youth Choir, will once again represent the nation and raise the flag high in the United States.

Tuesday, January 10th, the esteemed musical ensemble revealed on Instagram that it has been chosen as one of the best sixty acts of all time to play on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.

Ndlovu Youth Choir stated in their release that it is excited to share the stage with brilliant performers from around the world.

“With over 70 local versions of “Got Talent” produced in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, “AGT: All-Stars” brings together the most beloved and unforgettable contestants from around the world for one of the most challenging challenges to date. The most talented performers will return to the stage to demonstrate their skills.” The group wrote while citing Simon Cowell.

This is not the first time the Limpopo quartet has appeared on the American talent competition.

In 2019, the Ndlovu Youth Choir reached the final of America’s Got Talent (AGT) or Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) for the first time in either competition’s history.

Simon Cowell referred to the performance in the final as “the best final I’ve ever sat through.” Together with SYCO and Sony Music, the choir launched its debut album, which debuted at number one on iTunes.

The choir, which was created in 2009, is also renowned for its lively performances of internationally renowned songs, like Toto’s Africa, Kygo’s Higher Love, U2’s Beautiful Day, and Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You.
