Al Ahli Saudi defeated Al Kholood 2-1 on Tuesday evening to move into second place in the Saudi First Division standings. Pitso Mosimane returned to his winning ways with this victory.
Mosimane and his players were eager for three points after last week’s 4-1 home loss to Al Akhdoud, which prompted the Ahli supporters to condemn the South African manager harshly.
Hassan Al Ali scored the game-winning goal five minutes before halftime to give the Royals an early lead. Five minutes into the second half, the home team scored a goal to tie the score.

Jingles, as Mosimane is affectionately called, witnessed one of his new recruits, Modou Barrow, score in the 74th minute to assist his team earn three points, tying Al Hazem for the league lead with 40.
