Mormon TikTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul could face upgraded assault charges

Utah authorities said on Friday that Taylor Frankie Paul, a Mormon TikTok influencer, could face upgraded assault charges and an additional misdemeanor charge of reckless child abuse following her arrest last week.

Paul was arrested on three misdemeanor charges, including assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child, and detectives turned over new video footage to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office to weigh felony assault charges.

The police statement also mentioned that Paul’s minor child was injured by her during the incident. It is unclear which child was allegedly injured. Paul has two children with ex-husband Tate Paul.

The police declined further comment, citing an active investigation. Paul gained notoriety in 2022 for revealing that she was a “soft swinger” and went “too far” with someone’s spouse.

She has been open about her struggles with depression, anxiety, and extreme weight loss in recent months.
