Grant may be heard confessing that he has drugs in the trunk of the vehicle, prior to the discovery of approximately 42 pounds of cocaine packaged in two ‘bags for life’ from a supermarket.

The police stated that the cocaine, valued at £1.9 million, was bound for the streets of Essex.

The drugs were discovered after Grant was stopped by police for operating a vehicle without insurance. He has been given an eight-year prison sentence for possession with intent to distribute.

On the London-bound road, 19 blocks of cocaine, each weighing roughly 1 kilogram, were discovered in the trunk of a Skoda.

Grant was sentenced to eight years in prison on January 13 for possession with the intent to distribute Class A narcotics after pleading guilty to both charges at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court in April.

Grant pleaded guilty to the charges in April 2022 and was sentenced to eight years in prison on January 13 for possession with intent to distribute.

Each kilogram block has an approximate street value of £1 million. The authorities halted the Skoda when they saw it was uninsured.

Detective Sergeant Leo Fordham of Essex’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit stated, “This was a substantial seizure of drugs destined for Essex’s streets.”

Grant admitted the charges against him in April 2022 and was jailed for eight years on January 13 for possession with intent to supply
