This is the moment a cocaine dealer stopped by police acknowledged that his trunk had “a lot of coke.”
Kieran Grant, 40, is shown on video being questioned by Essex police officers after being stopped on the M11 for driving an uninsured Skoda Fabia around 10.30 p.m. on March 31, 2017.
Grant may be heard confessing that he has drugs in the trunk of the vehicle, prior to the discovery of approximately 42 pounds of cocaine packaged in two ‘bags for life’ from a supermarket.
The police stated that the cocaine, valued at £1.9 million, was bound for the streets of Essex.
The drugs were discovered after Grant was stopped by police for operating a vehicle without insurance. He has been given an eight-year prison sentence for possession with intent to distribute.
On the London-bound road, 19 blocks of cocaine, each weighing roughly 1 kilogram, were discovered in the trunk of a Skoda.
Grant was sentenced to eight years in prison on January 13 for possession with the intent to distribute Class A narcotics after pleading guilty to both charges at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court in April.

Grant swiftly responds, “In the trunk.”
When asked what is in the trunk, the criminal responds, “Drugs – lots and lots.” Cocaine.’
Grant informs a police officer, via body camera footage, that there are “a lot” of drugs in the trunk of the vehicle.
Grant pleaded guilty to the charges in April 2022 and was sentenced to eight years in prison on January 13 for possession with intent to distribute.
Each kilogram block has an approximate street value of £1 million. The authorities halted the Skoda when they saw it was uninsured.
Detective Sergeant Leo Fordham of Essex’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit stated, “This was a substantial seizure of drugs destined for Essex’s streets.”
“We are painfully aware of the harm that drugs cause, both to those who use them and to those involved in their distribution.”
In this instance, driving an uninsured vehicle was Grant’s undoing and exposed him as an illegal courier. For his acts, he will now serve a substantial length of time in prison.’
