The two parties will also work jointly on art projects to enhance the emirate’s representation in exhibitions and events, thereby contributing to the UAE’s and Ajman’s art scene and strengthening institutional cooperation.

The ministry agreed to strengthen cooperation with Ajman in educational campaigns, programmes and activities, exhibitions, and initiatives, raising awareness among the youth and reaching out to youth councillors to organise art events. The MoU also stipulates conducting research into the upcoming activities and initiatives and exchanging experiences and data between the two parties.

Speaking about the MoU, Mubarak Al Nakhi, said, “This MoU serves to strengthen the UAE’s exemplary efforts in joint institutional work at the local and regional levels. With its multi-pronged approach, this MoU will help us undertake joint projects with the Emirate of Ajman for culture and community development.”

He continued, “The ministry seeks to implement the guidance of the good leadership to strengthen cooperation between different sectors. We acknowledge the importance of building a thriving cultural ecosystem and supporting talented people in the country. Not only does it help to promote national identity, but it also opens new avenues for the youth to play an active role in shaping the future of the country. We envisage our country to be placed among the leading countries in the world in the field of development, creativity, innovation and joint institutional action.”

Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi stressed that under the guidance of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, the department seeks to consolidate joint action with federal authorities to achieve its strategic objectives and support cultural projects that impact lives positively.
