Miley Cyrus, the 30-year-old singer known for her hit “Used To Be Young,” has shed light on the grueling schedule she endured as a sought-after child star.

Cyrus was just 13 when she landed a role in the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” where she portrayed Miley Stewart, the covert teenage identity of pop sensation Hannah.

The series, co-starring her real-life father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ran from 2006 to 2011 and paved the way for her transition into more mature music.

A Day in the Life

Cyrus shared a video on TikTok where she opened a digital schedule and was visibly taken aback by her demanding daily routine.

Her day, which took place on January 5, kicked off at 5:30 am with hair and makeup in her hotel room.

She was picked up at 7 am and made appearances on the news at 7:15 am, followed by additional live interviews at 7:45 am, 8:15 am, and 8:45 am.

Between 9:30 am and 11 am, she had meetings with editors before returning to her hotel.

Cyrus then noted that she had to conduct an interview, but her interviewers were fifth-grade students.

Her schedule continued with a lunch interview with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, followed by a photoshoot for Life magazine.

After that, she had another photoshoot and interview for a Father’s Day magazine feature.

At 6 pm, she was set for a kids’ online interview and another interview at 6:15 pm.

Endless Workdays

Cyrus revealed that her days often started at 7 am and ended at 7:30 pm, with minimal breaks in between.

She shared her realization that this hectic schedule lasted for the next four years of her life, which was met with agreement from an off-camera voice.

Cyrus’s Reflection and Vacation Wish

Cyrus concluded the video by stating that while she may be many things, laziness is not one of them.

She expressed the sentiment that she deserved an extended summer vacation, alluding to her album released earlier in the summer titled “Endless Summer.”
