Thursday, a shooting occurred on the set of the upcoming music video for French Montana and Rob49, resulting in several injuries.
The Miami Gardens Police Department verified to CBS4 that “multiple people” had been shot in the restaurant parking lot where the rappers were filming.
At least four people were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment; however, their conditions are unknown.
Uncertain if the “Unforgettable” rapper was hit, a witness stated that it appeared his security moved him safely out of the line of fire.
French Montana, 38, and Rob49’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
After the shooting, four persons were flown to a neighboring trauma unit.
“There were multiple shots fired, and it sounded like an assault rifle,” said Ced Mogul, a witness who came to the restaurant to see Montana film the video.
Mogul reported hearing 10 to 15 gunshots, after which the cast and crew instantly dispersed.
Mogul stated, “When we heard the gunshots, people began to flee, some had blood on their shirts, and others were crying on the ground.” It is simply tragic.
It appears that the rapper from “Unforgettable” fled the scene without incident.
Mogul also disclosed to News7 Miami that he began to run but then opted to duck and cover.
“I started running and looked back, but I thought, ‘You know what? Let me first duck, and then people began to ask me, ‘Can you help me?’” he remembered.
“When I realized that people were asking for assistance, there was nothing I could do because I had already been shot.”
“It sounded like an assault rifle,” said Ced Mogul, who came to the restaurant to see Montana film the video.

A law enforcement source informed CBS4 that police will examine several social media videos and CCTV footage from adjacent businesses.
According to the police, the shooting was an isolated event. It is unknown whether anyone has been brought into custody as of yet.
