Members of Operation Dudula visited many companies in Cape Town

Members of Operation Dudula visited many companies in Cape Town on Friday, July 22.

According to the gang, they have made it their mission to drive illegal immigrants out of the Western Cape.

Why did the group go to these establishments?

The group said the proprietors of the firms they went had hired illegal foreign workers.

Those who join Operation Dudula in the hopes of obtaining job are reportedly advised to bring their resumes with them.

The Cape Gate Mall in Cape Town reportedly has private security, law enforcement, and a significant police presence.

It appears that the mall was prepared for disorderly behaviour in the region.

Members of Operation Dudula reportedly stated that they could no longer “tolerate” firms that disregard locals.

Lulamile Bavuma, the movement’s deputy chairwoman for the Western Cape, said that the purpose of Friday’s protest was to present memoranda.

The hiring of unauthorised immigrants, in the opinion of Operation Dudula, is unacceptable.

“Today is all about giving the memo to these haughty organisations.

They continue to act with such haughtiness by hiring immigrants, much less undocumented immigrants, in our nation when our citizens are starving to death. It’s unacceptable,” Bavuma declared.

The group reaffirmed its position that it did not want to foster xenophobia.

It said that its goal is to arouse attention regarding the difficulties South Africans face.

Numerous organisations have charged Operation Dudula of fostering xenophobia, but they continue to refute these claims.

Groups argue outside the scene of the Soweto tavern shooting: EFF vs. Dudula.

In other Operation Dudula news, it was previously reported that a fight broke out between members of Operation Dudula and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) hours after information regarding the murders of guests at a pub in Soweto surfaced.

According to sources, there may have been a dispute over who got to the crime site first, which may have led to the altercation.

Investigators from the SAPS were looking into the fatal shooting at the tavern at the time of the altercation.

Currently, the Mdlalose tavern shooting has claimed the lives of a staggering 15 persons.

The commander of Operation Dudula Nhlanhla Lux said it didn’t matter who got there first.
