Mel B’s ex-husband believes abuse accusations and victimhood destroyed her career

Mel B’s ex-husband said that by presenting herself as a “victim,” she had “ruined” her career.

The producer can be seen telling his former spouse to “stop” with the singer’s allegations of abuse in emails from May 2021, which were made public as part of a legal battle over Madison, their 11-year-old daughter. The Spice Girls singer has previously spoken out about her alleged experience at the hands of Stephen Belafonte.

According to RadarOnline.com, Mel’s attorney demanded that the court rule that any caretaker who is not a member of Madison’s immediate family must first receive approval from both of her parents before they can take care of the child. Mel’s lawyer claimed that Belafonte left the singer “largely in the dark” and “failed to provide her with even basic information” about their daughter’s whereabouts.

When Madison was in her ex’s custody, Mel claimed that he frequently fell short of “adequately co-parenting” and “not immediately disclosing addresses for where Madison lives.”

She was particularly upset that her ex-husband had left their daughter with Bahare and her family for extended periods of time without first getting Mel’s permission.

The “I Want You Back” singer then discovered the caretaker was a “close acquaintance” of their former nanny Lorraine Gilles, who was previously rumored to have engaged in threesomes with her ex-employers.

Bahare is genuinely tight with Lorraine Gilles, who Stephen and the Court are both aware is not allowed to be around Madison at any time, the attorney said.

Belafonte stated that he had informed his ex-wife of Madison’s location and daily activities and that she was aware that Bahare was raising their daughter.

Mel addressed Belafonte in an email dated May 12, 2021 about Madison’s planned journey to the UK: “Do you have someone acceptable and suitable to transport madison over to the uk? If not, I’ll arrange for her to travel on May 21 with a flight attendant.

To be crystal clear As you are aware, Lorraine You should not be suggesting anything like this. Either find a suitable person or accept the in-flight chaperone. really appreciated

“I just asked you a question I did not abuse you would you stop it with all this abuse stuff you’ve single-handedly destroyed your career trying to look like a victim and no one bought into it and now you keep preaching it to me no matter how many times you say it’s not going to make that ever came true if I was so abusive and so hurtful you should be flourishing with your career in life now and not worrying about me just our daughter,” he replied.

The producer continued by maintaining that he had chosen the chaperone correctly.

“I wasn’t attempting to mistreat you by giving our kid to someone I trust, and you trusted them until you made up stories about them,” he added.

“I was solely concerned about our kid’s security and I was certain that she would never harm our daughter.

“You replied to my question, and I ignored it. It was only a recommendation that I might have made to [redacted] or any of the many other persons you have in charge of monitoring our kid that I had recently met.

Then he criticized Mel for not traveling to the US to pick up Madison by herself.

It is quite strange, he said, that you wanted Madison to go out but didn’t make any plans to send one of your devoted followers to pick up our daughter instead of depending on a chaperone, which will never happen.

“Except for maybe a few lawsuits, nothing is keeping you from jumping on a plane and travelling to Los Angeles, but it shouldn’t stop you from going to see our daughter to pick her up and make sure she’s OK.”

The emails were provided by Mel’s legal team as part of her request for the court to become involved.
