Prince William and King Charles have been ‘drawn closer’ by Megxit, a royal author claimed today, while Prince Andrew will be banned from royal gatherings after losing the ‘protection’ of the Queen.
Katie Nicholl, author of The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, stated that the heir to the throne converses with his father ‘nearly daily’ and that the two are ‘on the same page’ regarding the future of the monarchy.
In an effort to move on from “past controversies,” their vision involves prohibiting Andrew from keeping a public role in the Royal Family, according to her.
This was a reference to his friendship with paedophile millionaire Jeffrey Epstein and the long-denied allegations that he sexually raped Virginia Giuffre when she was 17 years old.
Ms. Nicholl stated to Lorraine, “I believe Brexit brought William and Charles closer together.” Charles’ plan for his first five years as king is already in place, and he is prepared to begin his reign immediately and amaze us.
Currently, Charles and William vacation together and chat on the phone nearly every day. In addition, they agree on the future of the monarchy.

In response to a question concerning the Duke of York, she stated, “I believe the Queen was protecting him.” According to insiders close to the Queen, she questioned Andrew about the incident and put him on the spot.
“He asserted his innocence, and as a mother and queen, she stood with him until the end.”
“What will occur next is intriguing. Andrew has been an integral part of the royal grieving period, but I don’t think we’ll see him much if at all anymore.
Charles is concerned with the future of the Royal Family and his own reign. He will not want that to be impacted by past or present scandals. There will be an actual streamlining that we will observe in real time.
Ms. Nicholl stated, in a lighter moment of the conversation, that King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla had previously viewed episodes of The Crown.
The Netflix series has been criticized for depicting a mostly fictionalized depiction of royal life without providing viewers with a disclaimer.
Ms. Nicholl stated that Prince Andrew will no longer attend royal occasions under the reign of Charles
Ms. Nicholl remarked, “The Duchess has a great sense of humor.” I believe the King stopped watching the last episode at some point.
However, the Duchess viewed it with a grain of salt. I’m guessing that they will be watching the next episode.’
On Sunday, King Charles and Camilla made their first public appearance since the Queen’s funeral, greeting well-wishers in church.
The pair appeared thoughtful as they were transported to the Scottish parish church located near the Balmoral estate.
Charles, aged 73, wore black, whereas Camilla, aged 75, looked to be wearing a black, grey, and red check tartan under her somber black coat.
