While celebrating their second Christmas as a two-member family, Maralee Nichols dressed her one-year-old son Theo as Santa Claus.
The model, who welcomed Theo with Tristan Thompson in December, shared photographs of him wearing a red Santa onesie on Instagram on Monday.
The 31-year-old captioned the photographs showing her son crawling on the floor and climbing into a toy Bentley Chiron, “Spotted Santa Claus.”
The fluffy attire had an integrated Santa hat and white trim.
Nichols celebrated her son’s first birthday with a “Winter ONEderland”-themed party earlier this month.
“I cannot believe you are already a year old,” she captioned a series of Instagram images.
“The past year spent with you has been the best year of my life. You are the most adorable little guy, and your smile can light up any room.
Despite Nichols’ prior assertion that Thompson had “done nothing” for the first year of Theo’s life, the NBA player recently settled their paternity suit by agreeing to pay the model $10,000 per month in child support.
While Nichols has sole custody of their son, they have yet to establish a visitation plan – that is, if the 31-year-old player ever decides to meet his son.
The verdict came nearly a year after Nichols sued Thompson for publicly disputing the paternity of the kid, which a DNA test ultimately confirmed.
In fact, Thompson allegedly attempted to bribe the model $75,000 to stay quiet about the child because he was still in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian and expecting another child via surrogate.
However, once the news of the paternity test broke, the athlete wrote an apology to the “Kardashians” star, stating that she “did not deserve the heartache and embarrassment” he brought her.
Nearly eight months after the adultery scandal surfaced, Thompson and Kardashian gave birth to a son whose name remains unknown.
Additionally, the couple has a 4-year-old daughter named True, who was born just days after Thompson was spotted kissing another woman.
