Khloé Kardashian does not wish to have ill will toward Tristan Thompson.
The 38-year-old reality star maintained it “hurts” her more to harbor animosity towards her ex-husband, the father of her 4-year-old daughter True and 2-month-old baby, due to his repeated extramarital affairs, and she learned from her rocky marriage to Thompson to “let it go”.
When asked on “The Kardashians” how she had achieved peace with Thompson, she confessed: “It’s probably, maybe practice?
“I believe that many people forget that I’ve endured a great deal of BS. When we were married, my ex-husband [Lamar Odom] had a very public drug issue and was found in a brothel, and he did many things that maybe aren’t forgiving. However, I am still able to forgive him, move on, and wish him the best.
“Holding on to all of this only causes me pain, so let it go. Let go and let God.”
Kris Jenner commended her daughter’s “grace” in handling the revelation that Thompson had fathered a child with another woman in secret.
She stated on the broadcast, “Khloé is handling the Tristan situation with such poise.
“As her mother, I can know Khloé has been quite depressed; I can feel her energy. And she internalizes everything, which causes me concern.”
The founder of Good American said on last week’s show that she rejected Thompson’s proposition because she wasn’t “enthusiastic” about the notion.
She stated, “I said, ‘I need to make sure this is a completely different relationship, because I want to be proud to be engaged to anyone.’”
“Therefore, I told him, ‘I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not eager to tell my family,’ and as difficult as that was for him to hear, it was the truth.
I informed him that I would never accept something or offer someone false hope.
