Man stabbed multiple times in First Hill, Seattle on Monday, police said


Police are conducting an investigation after a man was stabbed many times in First Hill, Seattle on Monday morning.

At 10:22 a.m., firefighters and police went to 7th Avenue and James Street after receiving reports of a male with abdominal bleeding. The man, who had several knife wounds to his chest and leg, was treated by firefighters and brought to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

According to eyewitness accounts, a male suspect tried to rob the victim before stabbing him and fled on foot. Officers combed the area but were unable to find the man.
