Man goes nude during birthday celebration

After an “all-night birthday bender,” a drunken British tourist was discovered nude on a Thai beach. He told authorities that he had no memory of the two days before.

The Epsom, Surrey man, who had travelled to the country for a wedding, is said to have remained up late on October 28 celebrating his 30th birthday at a party while using marijuana, which is now legal in the nation.

On the idyllic island of Koh Samui, islanders were astonished to see him staggering along the beach the next morning shouting “football tunes.”

They marveled as he paddled across the water before swimming away from the land.

Kind fisherman apparently made an aggressive attempt to assist the British.

He is alleged to have pulled the local into the water off the edge of Maenam Beach on the island of Koh Samui while shouting, “Go and meet with God!”

Cops in a panic came to bring the guy onshore, but the man protested by standing nude on the sand and stating he wanted to meditate.

The event made fun of “The Hangover Part II,” a 2011 movie starring Ed Helms (Stu), Zach Galifianakis (Alan), and Bradley Cooper (Phil), about a group of friends who go to Thailand for Stu’s wedding.

They embark on an all-night bender the previous night, only to wake up the following morning with no memory of what happened since Alan had drugged their marshmallows.

The remainder of the movie follows the characters’ quest to piece together their jumbled memories and locate Teddy, Stu’s soon-to-be young brother-in-law, who got lost on the way (along with the inebriated Brit, who engages in some public nudity).

The British man was hauled up on the morning of October 29 and instructed by an interpreter to “go back to your hotel, wash, and then go back to your meditation,” but he refused, saying he just “wants to rest” and meditate.

Locals filmed the police carrying the British guy onshore, and the man then talked with the interpreter.

Yes, I realize that, but now is not the best moment for it. You have 12 officers around you, the interpreter informs him.

No, I’m not going back, the guy retorted. Let me rest and worry about getting back. I am traveling here to attend a wedding. The British guy was finally taken to the station by the police, where he underwent a drug test and received a negative result.

The British guy will be permitted to return to the UK when his vacation is over despite receiving a fine for public obscenity. Several packages of marijuana were discovered at his hotel, but as it has just recently been legalized, authorities won’t do anything about it.

The fisherman who saved the nude guy also said he would not report the alleged attack to the police. I noticed the visitor in the water battling to remain afloat, so I was afraid he may perish, the man stated. Despite my attempts to assist him onto my boat, he was combative.

I don’t want to punish him. Being secure at this point makes me happy. I believe he is a wonderful guy, but it’s possible that he drank too much and the heat made him act insane.

Theerayut, a nearby resident who saw the incident, remarked: “I heard the tourist yelling and singing songs on the beach. It reminded me of football tunes. I simply ignored him since I thought he was intoxicated.

The Brit landed on the island on October 10 and stayed at a resort nearby, but employees reported he was boisterous and upset their other visitors. This was according to Surat Thani Immigration Official Captain Aroon Moosikim.

The suspect is a 30-year-old British guy who just arrived in Thailand on a tourist visa, according to the police chief.

The tourist, according to Captain Aroon, attended a party during the long weekend but said he couldn’t recall anything else. He said that from October 27 till his reappearance on the beach on October 29 his buddies had not seen him.

The visitor informed us that he attended a party, but he was unable to recall anything further, the man stated. He said that he wants to encounter God with everyone.

We momentarily had to halt the questioning since he was making it difficult for us to communicate with him. We’ll keep an eye on him.
