Mamelodi Sundowns loan out three more players?

According to reports, Mamelodi Sundowns have loaned out three first-team players on the PSL’s transfer deadline day!

Three Brazilian first-team players will compete for the balance of the season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Reports indicate that Luvuyo Phewa, Keletso Makgalwa, and Promise Mkhuma would be loaned out till the conclusion of the season.

They join fifth-string goalkeeper Jody February, who also joined AmaZulu on loan during the most recent transfer window.

IdiskiTimes reported that Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Luvuyo Phewa is expected to join Cape Town Spurs on loan for six months.

Sundowns are also believed to have completed a loan agreement with All Stars of the Motsepe Foundation Championship for Keletso Makgalwa and Promise Mkhuma.

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Keletso Makgalwa was fouled by Cape Town City’s Thamsanqa Mkhize during the Absa Premiership 2019/20 match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City on 20 August 2019 at Lucas Moripe Stadium, Atteridgeville.

In other events, Andile Jali’s contract with Mamelodi Sundowns FC has entered its final six months.

One would imagine that the Brazilians would be hurrying to extend the contract of last season’s best midfielder, but this is not the case!

Sundowns have yet to make a decision regarding Jali’s future, per the player’s agent, Mike Makaab.

This season, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder has only started six league games, which is cause for concern.

In fact, Jali has been an unused substitute for Mamelodi Sundowns seven times this season!

It remains to be seen whether the club would renew his contract, but according to his representative, the club has taken no action as of yet!

“I believe it’s time for them to make a choice. And if they do not want Andile, they must inform us, and we must then respect their decision and go on,” Makaab stated, as published by Thisisfootball.

“His preference would be to remain with Mamelodi Sundowns, but if he is not included in the coach’s plans, he is a quality player with five months remaining on his contract.

“As I have stated, a lot of organizations have inquired about him. Not only locally, but also internationally.

“Once again, I must respect Mamelodi Sundowns since they have always handled with us in a professional manner. In this particular instance, though, I believe we must bring this matter to a head. There is no room for doubt.”
