A little boy named Ellis has dressed up as Prince Harry, holding a blown-up cover of his incendiary autobiography, Spare, for World Book Day. Ellis, who is three years old, is the child of make-up artist and hair stylist Melissa Wright, and her skills were evident in the look.
He sports ginger hair, a painted-on ginger beard, and expressive eyebrows, mimicking Harry’s serious expression in his picture.
Melissa was initially worried about the costume being a controversial topic, given everyone has a strong opinion about the book, but ultimately, she saw it as just for fun. She revealed that Ellis is quite feisty and has an opinion, which is what led her to choose Harry as his World Book Day character.

They hope to see more children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, develop a lifelong habit of reading for pleasure, which will improve their life chances.
World Book Day is celebrated in over 100 countries worldwide, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading.
