Love Island’s Cassidy McGill apologizes for uploading an Instagram photo of white powder

Last week, the Australian reality star-turned-influencer who was pictured carrying a tray of white powder apologized to her social media fans.

Love Island Australia’s Cassidy McGill uploaded the photo in issue to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday night, and then promptly removed it. Then, it was widely disseminated online.

In the photograph, McGill, who featured on the first season of the popular dating show, could be seen sitting on the floor in blue pants with a white plate on her knee.

On the plate were two distinct lines of white powder, along with a little bag containing more of the same unknown substance.

Cassidy McGill of Love Island Australia is in deep trouble after posting and swiftly deleting a photo of herself next to a bowl of white substance.

She captioned the image, “Oops, see you tomorrow,” before swiftly deleting it.

Some individuals questioned whether McGill’s sponsored brand relationships like Bondi Sands and Amazon Prime would be impacted. The influencer addressed these brand partnerships in her apology, which was published on Tuesday.

McGill wrote, “I’ve been reflecting about my conduct over the past week.”

“I made a mistake, which I take very seriously. This behavior is out of character, and I sincerely apologize for disappointing you all. I apologize to my friends, family, team, and brands that I represent.

“I hope to regain your confidence and respect with time. We appreciate those who have reached out. Regards, Cass.”
