Louisiana University gymnast Olivia Dunne hit back at fan that left derogatory comment on her TikTok videos

After receiving a suggestive message from a male fan which said “mommy” and included a heart emoji, 20-year-old college athlete and TikTok star Olivia Dunne responded with a video in which she firmly stated that she would not “crush [his] skull with [her] thighs” and that she was not his mother.
Unfortunately, this incident is not the first time Dunne has faced concerning behavior from male fans at competitions, and she has also been subjected to threatening comments online.
Due to her social media stardom, both she and her coaches have had to implement new safety rules and regulations for athletes. Despite the challenges, Dunne has been able to capitalize on her popularity and secure lucrative name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals with companies such as American Eagle Outfitters and Vuori activewear, earning almost $2 million per year from her social media sponsorships.
Dunne has amassed a massive following on social media, with over 2.3 million followers on Instagram and 6.3 million on TikTok. While getting back into gymnastics after a foot injury, Dunne and her team recently achieved a narrow victory over the University of Florida.
