Lizzo responds to Kanye’s weight comments

Kanye West criticized Lizzo’s weight in a heated interview with “Fox News” presenter Tucker Carlson. Lizzo retaliated against Kanye West on stage, presumably in response.

The pop queen appeared to react to West’s remarks without naming him by name during her concert at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Friday, after West stated her girth is “unhealthy” on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

During her performance, Lizzo informed the audience, “I feel like everyone in America has my motherf****** name on their motherf****** lips for no reason.”

Before making a joke about moving to Canada, the singer stated, “I’m minding my own fat black gorgeous business.”

“Can I remain in Canada?” Who can I marry to qualify for dual citizenship?”

Lizzo appeared to drive home her argument by posting a footage of her stage performance on Instagram, which depicted her with a spotlight on her face and the words “My body, my choice” blazing across her torso.

It comes after West discussed Lizzo’s weight with Tucker Carlson and seemed to imply she is setting a poor example, telling the Fox News host, “Lizzo works with my trainer, a friend of mine named Harley Pasternak.

“When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, bots – that’s a term, it’s like telemarketer calls – on Instagram bash her for losing weight because the media wants to promote the idea that being overweight is the new ideal, despite the fact that it’s unhealthy.”

He stated, “Let’s put aside whether it’s fashionable and Vogue-approved, which it is not, or if someone finds it appealing; to each his own. Actually, it is clinically unhealthy. And it is diabolical for anyone to advocate this.”

West responded, “It’s a genocide of the black race. They intend to kill us by whatever means possible.”
