Legal Aid Agency announces the extension ofthe 2018 Standard Civil Contract through August 31, 2023

We will notify all service providers working in all categories that we intend to extend the 2018 Standard Civil Contract through August 31, 2023.

Why is this relevant right now?

Please be aware that all categories of the 2018 Standard Civil Contract will be universally extended through August 31, 2023.

This is a revision to the earlier statement, which was made in March 2022.

In what ways does this affect immigration?

It has been decided to extend all immigration contracts through August 31, 2023.

We shall no longer provide shorter extensions to immigration contracts.

A consultation on immigration costs is now underway and will end on August 8, 2022, according to the Ministry of Justice.

Following this, we will discuss representative organizations with any modifications to the immigration contract necessary to comply with the Nationality and Borders Act of 2022.

Then, we’ll create a tender that enables fresh vendors to compete for immigration interactions.

What follows is what?

We shall formally extend extension offers and confirm our plans in writing to all current civil contract providers.

Standard Civil Contract for 2018
