Lady X on returning to music

Lady X, whose true name is Xolisa Mvula, drew attention when she walked the red carpet at the 28th South African Music Awards. Her attire accentuated her inherent curves, and her hairstyle was even more captivating.

She may not have won the SAMA28 Artist of the Year award, but no one can fault her for going all out for the major music event. After all, being nominated for an award is a major accomplishment.

Lady X’s name may be unfamiliar to others because she took a vacation from the profession when it became a negative environment for her. Lady X has been active in the Mzansi music industry for years, and this is not even her first nomination for a South African Music Award.

Now that she is in a better position, her focus is on her music and on embracing who she is.

Lady X dared to dream and live her life to the fullest, and she wowed on the red carpet by being unashamed of who she is. It was evident on the carpet as all the cameras were pointing in her direction.

Lady X was the creative director of her look; as an independent artist, she is responsible for many of her looks and the day-to-day administration of her career.

The ferocious musician embraces her sensuality, leaving her distributors to wonder if her next album cover will feature her naked.

Softn’ free assisted Lady X in looking her absolute best on the biggest night in music. The hair-care brand equipped her with a complete glam team and treated her like a celebrity.

The brand reached out to her after hearing her story in an interview with DJ Sbu because they were attracted to her “authenticity and energy” and wanted to offer her with everything she would need to be prepared for the SAMAS28.

Lady X characterizes the event as a “dream come true,” admitting that their support meant a great deal to her and left her in utter shock.

In an interview with IOL Entertainment, Lady X discussed her latest single, “Dare to Dream.” Originally named “Dream,” the song was re-released with the title “Dare to Dream.”

The song marks Lady X’s re-entry into the music arena, since it is taken from her debut EP “Rebirth” and is a feel-good tune that will put anyone in a joyful attitude.

“The sabbatical was for a variety of reasons, but I needed a break from the music industry in particular. It had become a miserable and dreary environment for me. I took a vacation following my 2019 SAMAs after her debut album.”

Lady X revealed that, contrary to what she had imagined as a child, she eventually learned about the unpleasant realities of the music industry.

Her experiences as a female independent artist in the music industry were not entirely positive, as she was confronted with terrible truths of the industry, which led to a deep despair.

Lady X made the decision to prioritize herself, especially her mental health, because she had lost her passion for music and no longer connected with the profession.

“I just didn’t want to be involved with misogyny and all the terrible things anymore. “I could no longer tolerate it,” stated Lady X.

Her music is similar to a diary in that it contains messages of hope and inspiration. Her song “Wela” is a dedication to her journey and an encouragement to others to persevere despite the difficulties they have met.

“Coming out of a break, I felt like I have no idea what’s going on, but all I can do is rise above the past because it does not define me. I am able to rise and live, using my past and wounds as sources of strength and power.

Lady X is entering a new season after overcoming her fight with depression; she has been nominated for Sofn’free Dance Artist of the Year at the next Basadi in Music Awards.

Lady X revealed that, before to her blessing season, she had contemplated suicide, and, reflecting on that dark moment and everything that has transpired since, she told her father, “If I had taken my own life, I wouldn’t be experiencing all of this.”

Life can be really difficult, making it difficult to persevere, but the artist emphasizes the significance of discussing your troubles and surrounding yourself with genuine people.

Her tale is an encouragement for women who are attempting to succeed in the profession despite the obstacles that accompany the road.

Lady X is proof that sometimes you simply have to keep going, surround yourself with solid support, and ride the wave, rather than drowning.
