The king is scheduled to meet privately with Northern Ireland Secretary of State Chris Heaton-Harris before travelling for St Anne’s Cathedral in the afternoon.
The couple’s final engagement will be a Service of Reflection for the life of Queen Elizabeth at St. Anne’s. The press announcement estimates that approximately 800 attendees will attend the service.
The couple traveled to Scotland last week. The procession that followed the Queen’s coffin from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh was led by King Charles.
They attended a Thanksgiving Service and vigil at the cathedral, where Charles and his siblings stood watch over the casket.
