Kenneth Noye tells his victim’s girlfriend he is “no danger to her.”

Following his 19-year jail sentence, road rage killer Kenneth Noye reportedly informed his victim’s fiancée that he was “not a risk to her.”

Noye, aged 75, was given a life term with a minimum of 16 years in prison for killing 21-year-old Stephen Cameron on an M25 slip road.

After testifying against Noye, Mr. Cameron’s girlfriend Danielle Cable, then 17 years old, was compelled to enter witness protection.

But now that he is permitted to return to the streets, the career criminal has made an effort to convince her that she should not be afraid of him.

She is not in danger from me, he said. I’d be delighted to reassure her of that. It shouldn’t have occurred at all. She should be free to walk as I do.

This comes as killer Noye, who was released in 2019, has now spoken for the first time in a new book written by Donal MacIntyre and Karl Howman. In addition, Jack Lowden’s portrayal of Noye as the main character in the drama series The Gold centers on his involvement in the £26 million Brink’s-Mat bullion heist that occurred in 1983.

He spoke with retired Detective Superintendent Ian Brown, who brought him to court over Brink’s-Mat 40 years previously, for the book, according to the Mirror.

When Noye killed Mr. Cameron in 1996, he was on parole. He subsequently left the country. Ms. Cable travelled to Barbate, Spain, to help police identify Noye at a restaurant, which led to his conviction.

According to the book, Noye said that he did not have any animosity against her and that she provided “honest testimony during the trial.” He also claimed that he does not disagree with her.

After killing her lover in 1996, he expressed his “true sorrow for her loss” and happiness that she had moved on, adding, “I am not a menace to her in any form.”

Despite what he claims the police stated, Noye said that he never posed a threat to her and that a million-pound bounty had never been set on her head. The murderer said, “I am grieved about Stephen’s death and the circumstances surrounding it.”

In 1985, Noye discovered DC John Fordham hidden in the grounds of his 20-acre home in West Kingsdown, Kent, and stabbed him 10 times.

When Noye was suspected of handling gold bullion taken in the Brink’s-Mat raid at Heathrow in 1983, the officer was keeping a close eye on him.

Charged with DC Fordham’s murder were Noye and Brian Reader, who subsequently rose to renown as the brains behind the Hatton Garden jewelry robbery in 2015.

However, an Old Bailey jury found the two not guilty when Noye said that he had acted in self-defense because he had feared being assaulted.

In 1986, Noye was found guilty of handling stolen gold after 11 bullion bars were found in his house.

He received a 14-year sentence that included eight years in prison, a £500,000 fine, and a £200,000 cost obligation.

Noye killed Stephen Cameron, age 21, on a slip lane on the M25 in May 1996 when he was out on parole after his release from jail.

He escaped the nation in a private plane given by his late friend John Palmer from the Brink’s-Mat team, and he ultimately made his way to southern Spain, where he was apprehended in August 1998.

Noye was apprehended when Stephen’s girlfriend Danielle Cable, who saw the murder, was brought covertly to the scene by British police and recognized Noye there. She is still in a witness protection program.

In May 1999, he was returned to Britain through extradition, and the following year, Danielle boldly testified against Noye in the Old Bailey.

He was sentenced to life in prison for murder and given a minimum 16-year sentence, however he was released from prison in June 2019.

The ex-con and his wife Brenda Tremain, with whom he has two grown kids named Kevin and Brett, are no longer married.
