Katie Nicholl says Queen Elizabeth II died of a “broken heart”

Katie Nicholl, a royal specialist, claims that Queen Elizabeth II passed away from a “broken heart” after losing her adored husband Prince Philip.

“BROKEN HEART”: Queen Elizabeth II’s cause of death

After losing her spouse Prince Philip in 2021, royal analyst Katie Nicholl asserts that Queen Elizabeth II passed away from a “broken heart” in that year.

The Queen passed away after a struggle with illness. Nicholl said that King Charles III, the heir to Her Majesty, found it difficult to see his mother’s casket being lowered into the royal crypt on Monday, September 19. Nicholl hinted that the late king, however, had “everything sorted out.”

“The moment where the Queen’s coffin was lowered into the royal vault was very, very powerful, very emotional. The King found that very, very difficult to watch. But actually, what viewers may not realise, is that the queen had this all figured out,” said Nicholl according to ET Online.

Because the Duke of Edinburgh’s coffin is housed in the same royal crypt, she explained, “they will both be buried together in this private ceremony, which won’t be aired, and which will be for immediate family only.”

Nicholl concluded that since Her Majesty was “never the same” following Prince Philip’s death, she finally passed away from a broken heart.

Her Majesty wanted to rest with her deceased husband.

In 1947, Her Majesty and Prince Philip exchanged vows. When Prince Philip died away in April 2021, the couple had been married for over 74 years. At Windsor Castle’s King George VI Memorial Chapel, the late monarch was laid to rest. King George VI, who passed away in 1952, and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who passed away in 2002, were buried here. The remains of her sister Princess Magaret were also there. The body of Prince Philip was transferred to be with her.

According to Nicholl, Her Majesty wanted to be buried beside her late husband. She allegedly wanted to make her last voyage with him by her side since she knew she would soon join him.

The Queen wanted Philip to wait in the royal crypt so that they may be buried together, beside her father King George and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, according to Nicholl.
