Yesterday, the royal family donned their finest church attire for a Christmas Day service on their Sandringham, England home, and Kate Middleton looked festive in tones of green.
The 40-year-old Princess of Wales wore an old favorite coat dress by Alexander McQueen, a long design with flap pockets that she previously wore at three different engagements in 2020.
She appeared to be wearing the same green ribbed Mango dress she wore on a visit to a children’s facility a month ago, keeping with her recent penchant for monochromatic ensembles.
The princess gave her old coat a new look by donning a new green hat with a bow and feather that appeared to be a custom version of a similar Philip Treacy design.
Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis accompanied their parents on their annual walk to church.
The princess completed her ensemble with Sézane jewelry, selecting the now-sold-out Dina Earrings ($130) with hanging blue beads, as well as brown boots, a matching brown pocketbook, and brown gloves.
Only once, in 2015, has Middleton donned an all-green ensemble for the customary Christmas Day walk to church; she typically dons tartan or tones of burgundy, brown, or gray for the yearly service and walkabout in Sandringham.
Yesterday, Prince George and Prince William wore identical blue suits with white dress shirts and blue ties, while Prince Louis, who made his first-ever appearance on Christmas Day, matched Princess Charlotte.
According to What Kate’s Kids Wore, both siblings wore Trotters Heritage Classic Coats ($224), with Charlotte wearing the same burgundy coat she wore to her mother’s Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey on December 15.
Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte wore identical coats from Trotters.
King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew, and Zara Tindall, as well as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their respective husbands, were among the other members of the royal family present yesterday.
