Arthur Zwane, the head coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, believes his squad is in excellent condition prior to their match against Royal AM.
Chiefs will host Royal AM in Polokwane on Sunday evening in an attempt to avert a record-setting losing streak.
Zwane, though, believes that the team is revitalized and prepared to work hard against the Durbanites.
Zwane stated via club media, “The boys look healthy.”
“They exude a great deal of positive energy, which will serve us well given our need for maximum points. Regarding how we wish to express ourselves within our structure, I am satisfied with what I observe. I only hope that we can implement this in the game.”
The Kaizer Chiefs coach agrees that his players are in a positive frame of mind.
“The players are in the proper mindset.
“They are aware that slumps are a normal occurrence in football.” In our instance, I do not believe we have played poorly; we have simply failed to capitalize on the opportunities we have created.
“We have always dominated our opponents the majority of the time and concluded games strongly. It is only a matter of time before we capitalize on our opportunities and score goals without conceding.”
Zwane maintains the team is not obsessing on their recent disappointing performance.
“We cannot concentrate on the past; we must always look ahead to the next game, which will present fresh problems.
“We keep our focus on growing better and better.
“We have learned from costly errors and will hopefully not repeat them in the future.
“However, we are always a motivated team, with an excellent group of players who are always eager to learn and eager to succeed.”
READY FOR ROYAL AM
Zwane feels his team will rise to the occasion and defeat Royal AM in a competitive match.
Royal AM is a challenging opponent. Every game is a fresh game with new strategy, and the ball game will be entirely different. They have a coach who has been with the team for a long period, and their roster is largely unchanged. “We will attempt to deal with whatever they throw at us.”
