Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have received a huge transfer boost

Both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have recently received huge transfer boosts.

The PSL has announced that the transfer window would be extended.

In other words, Chiefs, Pirates, and every other DStv Premiership team will now have extra time to put their teams back together before the 2022/2023 season.

Goal reports that the transfer window will now close on September 22, 2022.

For Amakhosi, the Buccaneers, and other PSL teams, that is more than three weeks longer than what was first anticipated.

As has been customary for as long as we can remember, the initial transfer window deadline was the 31st of August.

Although Amakhosi has already signed NINE players, their work is not yet complete. During the preseason, Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard evaluated four strikers, with one individual standing out to the Chiefs management. He is anticipated to be their tenth acquisition.

Seven players have signed with the Buccaneers. Having been connected to this R6 MILLION international talent, they are also far from finished.

The Soweto giants now have extra time to finalise their deals as they restructure their squads. They’ve already revealed new coaches and technical staff, as well as many new players and a slew of departures.

Stay tuned to The South African for the latest signings from Soweto and the rest of the PSL.
