Wall Street Journal stands by its assertion that US businessman Elon Musk broke up his connection with Google co-founder Sergey Brin

The Wall Street Journal has stood by its assertion that US businessman Elon Musk broke up his connection with Google co-founder Sergey Brin after having an affair with Brin’s now-divorced wife Nicole Shanahan, which was made public on Sunday of last week.

However, Musk continues to aggressively refute the allegations and posted a brief image of himself having fun with Brin on Twitter.

In the meantime, Maye Musk, his mother, has joined in on the denial of the rumours and has accused some media outlets of orchestrating a smear campaign against her millionaire son.

Elon Musk provides “evidence” that Sergey Brin and him are close pals.

Elon Musk, 51, insists that he did not have an affair with Nicole Shanahan, 38, who is going through a divorce from her millionaire spouse Sergey Brin. Nicole Shanahan is currently dating Elon Musk.

Musk and Shanahan allegedly had a brief relationship while attending an arts event in December of last year, according to a Wall Street Journal story.

Musk, though, has brushed off the report, claiming that he works too hard to have time for “shenanigans.”

This year, character assassination attacks have increased, yet the publications are all garbage.

There simply isn’t much time for antics because of the ridiculous hours I work, he tweeted.

The founder of Tesla and SpaceX called WSJ editor Michael Siconolfi a liar on Twitter.

In an effort to refute the claims made by the Wall Street Journal that the affair destroyed their friendship, he also posted a video of himself having a party with Sergey Brin.

maintaining their stance

Since then, the newspaper has come out against Musk, claiming that they are sticking to the story and that it has a trustworthy source.

In an email comment to The Daily Mail, WSJ stated, “We are confident in our sourcing and we stand by our findings.”

Musk’s mother has also defended him in the meantime, claiming that her son is the target of a “smear campaign.”
