Joe interrupts Jill’s first post-covid meeting

Jill Biden spoke about teacher shortages at the White House on Wednesday, her first public appearance after recovering from cancer.

‘I’m feeling great, extremely well. She responded, “Thank you,” when DailyMail.com enquired about her wellbeing.

The White House Domestic Policy Council held a meeting in the Roosevelt Room to consider short- and long-term solutions to the teacher shortage.

The first lady, a professor at Northern Virginia Community College, attended.

To make fun of his wife, President Joe Biden poked his head into the meeting and said, “Whatever she says, I agree with.” Then he snuck back outside.

The first lady, cabinet ministers, and teachers union representatives convened to talk about the nationwide teacher shortage.

The administration of President Biden unveiled a number of initiatives on Wednesday to make it simpler for states and school districts to find, attract, and employ job-seeking teachers.

Jill Biden discussed the challenges faced by teachers, particularly their “huge student debt.”

Last week, President Biden announced that he would forgive $10,000 in student loan debt for individuals with low to moderate incomes.

According to the New York Times, Jill Biden pleaded with her to not take such a step.

She chose not to explicitly respond to a question about how the president’s action will contribute to making education more affordable.

He claimed that he would get debt forgiveness while running for office. She responded on Wednesday to an inquiry from DailyMail.com by saying, “I heard him repeat it again and over and he followed through on his promise and he stuck to it.”

The first lady returned to work after a brief sickness while dressed in a bright pink outfit. When classes start the next week, she will continue teaching.

Jill Biden, 71, had a covid test on Monday and received the results on Tuesday, about a week after developing a rebound illness.

At the family’s beach cottage in Rehoboth, Delaware, she had been spending time alone.

When Jill and President Joe Biden were on vacation at Kiawah Island, South Carolina, on August 15, she initially tested positive.

Until her test came back negative, the first lady remained at a private residence on the island.

After being released from isolation, she travelled to Delaware on Sunday, August 21, to reunite with her husband, who was at their Rehoboth Beach, Delaware beach house.

On August 24, she subsequently tested positive once again with her rebound case.

The 79-year-old President Biden was thought to be a close friend of his wife’s but has now tested negative. In July, he had his own incidence of COVID and a rebound case.

Each Biden has received two booster shots. They both used paxlovid, an antiviral medication, as part of their therapy.
