Jeff Gladney, the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, dies in an automobile accident at the age of 25.

Jeff Gladney, a former NFL player for the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals, died in an automobile accident in Texas at the age of 25.

On Monday morning, the cornerback was discovered dead in Dallas. The crash happened about 2.30 a.m., according to Dallas Police, and two people were killed.

‘At this very sad time, we ask for prayers for the family and privacy,’ said his agent Brian Overstreet.

After being acquitted of felony assault, the former Texas Christian University (TCU) draft hopeful had recently signed with the Cardinals in the off-season of 2022.

In 2021, a woman that the Gladney had been in a relationship with claimed that the NFL player domestically assaulted her.

Further details about Gladney’s death and the car accident that he was involved in have yet to emerge, including whether the 25-year-old was driving and if he was intoxicated. 

The number of cars involved in the crash have yet to be disclosed.
