Jali’s agent provides another update; the clock is ticking

The clock is ticking. As the expiration of Andile Jali’s contract nears, Mamelodi Sundowns have yet to make a decision regarding his future. Here is the most recent report from his agent, Mike Makaab.

As previously reported by The South African website, the 32-year-old player’s contract expires in June, and the Matatiele-born star might sign a new contract with Kabo Yellow or possibly depart.

“We are currently in negotiations with Sundowns, and I will reiterate that we hope to conclude these negotiations as soon as possible,” Makaab said via SowetanLIVE.

“However, we can only push this as quickly as possible without causing it to become unnatural.

“I’ve said before that the best deals are those that unfold naturally,” Makaab said. “I believe this one will unfold naturally, regardless of the outcome.”

Jali could play this weekend for Sundowns away against Orlando Pirates.
