IPHONE in car called police to Lincoln’s worst car crash ever

A function on the newly introduced Apple iPhone 14 notified emergency personnel that the user was involved in a tragic car accident in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In what police described as “the worst crash in Lincoln in recent memory,” all six occupants perished.

There were no witnesses to the collision. Sunday morning, when the automobile smashed into a tree, a passenger’s telephone immediately notified first responders that all occupants were either dead or paralyzed.

Sunday around 2:15 a.m., five men riding in a Honda Accord perished at the scene of the collision. A 24-year-old lady in critical condition eventually passed away at a hospital nearby.

The five additional victims included a 22-year-old driver, three 21-year-old passengers, a 23-year-old passenger, and two 22-year-olds, including a man named Jonathan Koch.

WOWT reported that the remainder have not been identified.

Although the reason of the mishap is still under investigation, police revealed that they were contacted after the iPhone detected a collision and immediately dialed 911 when the user failed to reply.

“This is the worst accident in recent memory in Lincoln,” Lincoln Police Assistant Chief Michon Morrow stated. We’ve been attempting to recall another disaster of this magnitude, but have come up empty.

“In my 25 years with this department, I cannot recall anything as horrifying. It will take some time to determine the reason of this accident,’ Morrow noted.

Investigators have been unable to locate witnesses to the accident thus far.

The crash occurred in Lincoln, Nebraska, early on Sunday morning.

Police are still hunting for witnesses, but they have no idea what caused the collision.
