INEC Opens Application Portal for Four Available Positions
Prior to the general elections of 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission has opened the recruitment portal for temporary workers.
The commission stated in a statement that registration, which began on September 14, 2022, will conclude on December 14, 2022.
The Independent National Election Commission has opened a portal for the 2023 general election workforce recruiting.

“The Commission has approved the reactivation of both the Android-only Mobile App and the web portal for INECPRES” (laptops only).
“Therefore, the site will be available to eligible candidates for registration of all types of temporary employees (SPO/PO/APO/RATECHS/RAC Managers) with the exception of Collation Officers.
INEC Requirement for registration
A working e-mail address.
An active mobile phone number.
An individual’s bank account number.
A current, passport-sized photograph with a white background that is no larger than 5MB.
The names and contact information for two references, including email and phone numbers.
A valid staff or student ID number (as displayed on your ID Card)
A NYSC Contact Number for previous corps members (not earlier than 2018).
2022 is the NYSC Callup Number for current corps members.
A PDF copy of the highest qualification
A copy of the identifying document in.jpg or.jpeg format.
INEC Recruitment Instructions
To apply, visit https://pres.inecnigeria.org, the registration portal’s direct URL, and create an account. Then, proceed with the subsequent steps.
Examine the qualifications for the available roles.
(You must review the qualifications for all available election staff roles to determine your eligibility.)
Click “Register” and then follow the on-screen instructions.
Establish your password. After creating a password, you are automatically logged in and presented with an application form.
Complete the application. There are three areas on the form: I Personal Information, (ii) Contact Information, and (iii) Bank Details.
The names you input must match those on your BVN, and you must ensure that all of your information is accurate, as you will not be able to make changes after submitting the form.
Please upload a recent, passport-sized photo with a white background that is no larger than 5 MB.
Fill out the information for your referees and be sure to check the attestation box, as the information you submit will be verified by your institutions/organizations/referees.
Apply for the position.
Print your acknowledgement slip (this is required, as you’ll need it for the final verification). As mentioned on the INEC portal, ensure that you thoroughly examine your information before clicking the submit button.
According to INEC, deployment will be depending on the state of domicile you select.
