»Industrial Training and Internship Program at Shell«
The Student Industrial Training Programme of Shell Companies in Nigeria offers Nigerian college students the opportunity to gain work experience at their office sites.
This Industrial Training Program is intended to help students:
Apply ideas and concepts in the real world
Develop the necessary work-related abilities for the corporate environment through constructive feedback and oversight.
Acquire extra abilities including communication, ethics, HSSE, teamwork, and leadership.
Develop beneficial networks and contacts for professional advancement
The following courses are available for credit:
Engineering, Geoscience, Finance, and Information Technology
The Program enables students enrolled in any of the aforementioned courses to collaborate directly with inspiring and seasoned professionals. The knowledge and skills acquired at the conclusion of the program will be incredibly valuable in future careers.
Eligibility for the Shell Students Industrial Training and Internship Programme
Eligible applicants must:
Be a Nigerian citizen.
Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate programme in a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
Have school approval and authorization for Industrial Training.
Application Instructions for the Shell SIWES, IT, and Internship Programme
All applicants must have verified personal email accounts (for consistent communication). Applicants who meet the requirements should submit their applications via email to africarecruitment@shell.com.
The topic of the email should be: 2023 Shell Nigeria SIWES Application (Course of study).
The email’s body must contain the following:
Student’s name
Name of the University or educational institution
Identification Number for Students
Academic study
Length of time required for an internship
Contact details (address, email, and phone)
scanned copy of official letter or form from an academic institution
Current Grade Point Average (GPA) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) (GPA)
