Applications for the Mamelodi Sundowns Live Limitless Youth Internship Program opened on June 22, 2022 to an overwhelming reception.
The five (5) month Internship Program, which is run in partnership with Student Village (Youth and Student Marketing Agency), will see the club open its doors to young people between the ages of 18 and 34. The interns will gain valuable work experience and hone unique soft skills at the home of the Champions.
Selected interns will get the opportunity to work within the various departments at Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as participate in workshops that will train and educate them in the workplace from August until December 2022.
The club will be offering 5 internship positions in the following areas:
– TikTok content creator
– Photography
– Production video Editor
– Journalist/Writer
– Marketing Activation – Supporter Mobilisation
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Club Ambassador, Teko Modise, expressed his excitement at the launch of the project, “The fact that Sundowns is opening their doors to the young ones to come in as interns is huge. This is an opportunity to understand what it takes for the champions to be successful on and off the pitch, because not many people get to see that side of the club.”
