Hunter Biden’s laptop interests 63% of Americans

Despite the assertions of the whistleblowers that FBI leadership attempted to bury the story and minimise its details, over two thirds of Americans believe that the material found on Hunter Biden’s laptop is “significant.”

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll monitoring public opinion on the Hunter laptop issue, 44% of Americans believe it is still “extremely essential” to pay attention to the discoveries, while another 19% believe it is “somewhat important.”

The remaining 34% are evenly divided between those who believe the news is neither highly significant nor at all important.

The percentage of “not sure” voters among the 1,000 likely voters polled between August 31 and September 1 is under 3%.

With the primary difference being that there was just a 3% change from those who believe the story to be significant to those who believe it to be unimportant, the results of this survey this month are not dissimilar to those of the same poll performed in March.

Results reflect a change in how the question asked of probable voters was worded.

The March survey cited a recent New York Times article that acknowledged, after months of reporting from various publications, including DailyMail.com, on the authenticity of the harddrive and its contents, that President Biden’s son’s business dealings in other nations discovered on the laptop were real.

The New York Post’s first article on the laptop caused a Twitter lockout for the publication, and Facebook blocked the article as well.

The most recent survey makes no mention of reporting on the reliability of the laptop.

Republicans have criticised the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) for using a “double standard” in instances involving the Bidens as opposed to the Trumps.

They especially mention the search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property and query why Hunter’s house hasn’t been searched for more documents after the laptop was verified.

There were emails on the laptop where Hunter discussed business opportunities with China and Ukraine and made mention of a share for the “Big Guy,” who, according to some sources, was Vice President Biden.

As more FBI and Justice Department whistleblowers come out to claim prejudice inside their organisations, the significance of Biden’s laptop is still being questioned.

Senator Chuck Grassley said in July that he had spoken to “very reliable” informants who claimed that the FBI had attempted to minimise or debunk evidence that was unfavourable to Hunter and the laptop tale.

The Iowa senator wrote to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland on July 25: “The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation.”

This letter is necessary because of the breadth and consistency of the claims, he said.
