Horrifying picture show a girl clinging to an amusement park ride before dropping

Shocking images have emerged of a young girl dangling precariously outside of an amusement park ride at the Mount Isa 100 Years Celebration event in Queensland.

The incident occurred on a circular ride that had nearly come to a halt, leaving the girl holding onto the side of the cart as it was suspended several meters above the ground.

The girl can be seen in the footage gripping the cart with her arms and one leg, while bystanders looked on in concern. The girl eventually falls to the ground and sustains an injury to her leg. It is unclear from the footage how high she fell, and her current condition is unknown. The girl’s parents took her to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
