Following a horrifying school holiday accident in which six kids climbed onto one quad bike, a nine-year-old girl was left with catastrophic brain injuries.

The buggy overturned on Friday afternoon when the children were riding it on a property in Finch Hatton, north Queensland, which is located 63 kilometres west of Mackay.

The 9-year-old girl was transported to Mackay Hospital by Queensland Ambulance Service in a severe condition, along with five other kids.

Six youngsters were on board the quad bike, according to Queensland Police, when it crashed and rolled soon after 3.30 p.m. on Thurgoods Road after hitting an embankment.

A six-year-old boy was flung from the quad bike and suffered abdomen injuries in addition to the severely hurt girl’s severe head injuries.

The other four kids received medical care in a hospital.
