Horrific train crash leaves kills two passengers close to a railroad crossing

A train collided with an automobile near a railroad crossing in a neighborhood, causing at least two fatalities, three injuries, and the evacuation of 125 passengers.

After a passenger train and an automobile collided, two individuals were killed and three more were hurt.

Around 6.15 p.m. on Monday, a Metro A (blue) line train traveling at a speed of around 125 persons collided with the vehicle in the Central Alameda neighborhood of Los Angeles, California (February 20).

The wrecked car is seen close to a railroad crossing in a video uploaded to the Citizen media outlet as emergency personnel and fire trucks rush to assist.

First responders were able to free the two victims who died at the scene after becoming trapped inside the car, while the other three were taken to a hospital.

Without any injuries being recorded, the Los Angeles fire department announced that all of the train passengers were removed from the vehicle.

Two operators left the train as well, and one is being evaluated as a precaution, the department claims.

The cause of the most recent crash is still unknown, and no one’s identity has been officially confirmed as a victim.
