The police are requesting the public’s assistance in the wake of a hit-and-run incident that left two pedestrians injured in Alexandra Hills last night, March 11. Initial investigations suggest that a man and woman were hit by a vehicle at a business along Finucane Road at around 11:30 p.m.
The 25-year-old Victoria Point woman was seriously injured and has been taken to the hospital for treatment, while the 24-year-old Victoria Point man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle involved in the incident is believed to be a white 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration 015BE4. The vehicle was spotted leaving the scene around the time of the accident.
