Hillary Clinton responds to Trump’s ‘secret server’ accusation

In an effort to divert attention from his own legal issues with federal records, former president Donald Trump claimed on Saturday night that his bitter rival Hillary Clinton had stuffed sensitive data onto a “secret server.”

She responded with a frustrated tweet on Tuesday.

I find it unbelievable that we are still discussing this, yet my emails… The right is attempting to make this about me again as Trump’s issues multiply,’ the former secretary of state stated.

Even a “Clinton Standard” exists.

The reality is that I had no classified emails.

A 2016 FBI investigation found that she and her staff handled classified material with “extreme carelessness,” and that emails sent and received from an account she had on a private server included such information.

James Comey, the director, later said that “no prudent prosecutor” would file such a case.

Trump brought up the subject of Clinton’s use of a personal server while serving as Secretary of State in a speech on Saturday. His followers chanted “lock her up” in response.

Later, he came around and said that there wasn’t much top-secret information. And further examinations revealed that none of the questioned emails included “classified” marks.

As they attempt to protect Trump, her opponents have recently brought up the incident again in the headlines.

More than 11,000 federal materials, including highly confidential classified documents, were discovered by FBI officers at his Mar-a-Lago residence last month.

At a rally on Saturday in Pennsylvania, he said that everything was an attempt to quiet him.

He addressed hundreds of supporters gathered in Wilkes-Barre: “Even media outlets that are quite far left have come out and said we can’t believe this is happening in the USA.”

The FBI and DOJ, two organisations that just ruled that no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges against Crooked Hillary after she set up a secret, unlawful server to conceal her family’s pay-for-play schemes, are now attacking us.

“Crammed full of confidential material, allowing foreign hackers to steal it.” You’re aware that occurred? Consider that I then erased 30,000 emails.

When her emails and the FBI’s decision to restart its investigation dominated the final days of campaigning in 2016, his fans often chanted “lock her up.”

This time, it is Trump who may be in legal trouble, and Clinton has joined the conversation amid claims that she may have attempted to impede the probe.

Before the Mar-a-Lago raid, she tweeted a link to her political action committee’s stock of “but her emails” stickers, mugs, and T-shirts to draw attention to rumours that Trump had destroyed documents.

On Tuesday, Clinton returned with a Twitter thread.

After asserting that I possessed classified emails, Comey later acknowledged his error, she wrote.

Trump’s own State Department discovered that I had no classified emails, according to two separate secretaries, she wrote.

“Yes, that’s right: NIL.

Contrarily, Trump has a large number of papers that are plainly designated as classified, and the inquiry has only just begun.
