This horrible incident occurred in Ireland when a heroic lady pushed a vehicle to stop after the driver pulled a scared donkey along the road.
In distressing video, the driver of the vehicle can be seen pulling the white donkey down the road in Edenberry, County Offaly, as the rope is securely knotted around its lips.
When an animal welfare volunteer who had seen the horrifying situation yelled at the driver to stop the automobile, the cat was ultimately saved.
The witness who was following the automobile captured the incident on camera as the donkey was hopelessly pulled over the grassy median close to the main road.
The lady, who works as a volunteer for the organization My Lovely Horse Rescue, yells at the driver, “F***ing stop, what’s wrong with you,” as the donkey fights to stay upright at one point.
The donkey is shown limping along as it tries to keep up with the automobile but is unable to do so since the rope is knotted securely around its lips and ears and fastened to the car’s bumper.
As the donkey loses its balance once again and is pulled along by the driver as its rear legs slide on the cold pavement, the heroine can be heard yelling “stop!”
It is audible to hear the scared donkey neighing as it tries to keep up with the automobile.
The animal desperately attempts to escape the rope’s trap by digging its hooves into the ground, but it is unable to do so since its legs are buckled from the impact of the automobile and its head is extended.
The lady can now be heard yelling, “F***ing stop, just stop!” at the driver.
The automobile eventually stops after over a minute of shooting, and the heroine can be heard gasping for air as she examines the donkey’s health.
The lady, a volunteer with the organization My Lovely Horse Rescue, yells at the vehicle, “F***ing stop, what’s wrong with you!” as the donkey fights to stay upright after slipping on the frozen grass at one point.
The donkey can be seen dragging its feet in as it stands motionless, its eyes wide with panic at the thought of the automobile starting up again.
After the video was posted on social media, local Garda, with the assistance of My Lovely Horse Rescue, were able to capture the donkey and six other animals.
The organization published a picture of the white donkey securely tucked inside a trailer and denounced the event as a “terrible act of cruelty.”

An Garda Sochána is now looking into an incident under the Animal Health and Welfare Act, albeit we won’t comment on its contents. With the help of the Garda, the animal is being retrieved after being examined.
