A terrified woman in Massachusetts hilariously attempts to remove a squirrel stuck in the window of her home

A terrified woman in Massachusetts attempted to remove a squirrel that had become stuck in her window.

Ashley Caron, whose Tiktok handle is @getburly, posted the video of her attempt to the video platform with the sarcastic caption: ‘This went well #traumatized.’

At the start of the video, Caron tells her kids to get out of the room with the squirrel on the window, expresses how scared she is and pleads to the squirrel: ‘Listen lets make a deal, baby. I’m going to safely get you out.’

She then blabbers for a bit, before adding: ‘I just need to get with it. I’m going to open this and you just skirt out there and back to your happy, whimsical life.’

‘Please don’t bite me, don’t do anything crazy, don’t give me any diseases or my family,’ Caron says before slightly opening the window, prompting the squirrel to move and her to panic.

She then summons her children and assures them that if they hear her scream, “everything is fine.” Her children erupt in laughter in response.

The mother, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) according to her Instagram profile, slides the upper window further down and notices the squirrel crawling down as well.

She panics and moves away from the window after realizing the squirrel crawled inside the window and into the house rather than the other way around.

‘Nope, you were right the first time,’ Caron says while pointing upward. ‘That way! Nope, no!!!’

The family’s dog then approaches the window and snatches the squirrel with its mouth just as it jumps into the house through the window.

Caron, however, can still be heard yelling ‘no!’ in the background.

The video, which was shared on TikTok about a week ago, has more than 2.5 million likes and 26,000 comments.

‘[I don’t know] what I was expecting but it was NOT the dog,’ the most liked comment under Caron’s video reads.

‘That dog said you taking too damn long!!,’ a TikTok user shared.

“If I scream everything is fine” everything proceeds to not be fine,’ another TikTok user posted.
