Harry and Meghan are being questioned by royal experts for ‘rolling down window and waving’ to bystanders.

Angela Levin, a royal biographer, questioned whether Harry and Meghan’s decision to open their window to greet onlookers yesterday was consistent with their security concerns and an apparent commitment to keep a low profile while in the UK.

During an interview on Talk TV, Ms Levin, a royal analyst and author of several biographies of senior members of the family, slammed the marriage.

When the pair was observed driving through crowds near Buckingham Palace with their window down, she stated she was’very upset.’ As they passed past bystanders, Meghan was seen waving momentarily.

Ms Levin claimed they had ‘fought for additional security,’ but appeared content to simply ‘wind down the window and wave.’

After standing down as working royals, the couple was denied 24-hour armed protection by British police. In response to the ruling, Harry has filed a lawsuit against the Home Office.

Since then, Harry has stated that he does not feel secure bringing his family to the UK and that he was ‘unable to return home’ due to fears of danger. He even offered to foot the bill for British police bodyguards, but the Met refused, claiming that their officers could not be paid.

When Harry and Meghan, as well as their children Archie and Lilibet, arrived at Farnborough Airport earlier this week after flying from their home in America, the Queen dispatched a car and a security team to meet them.

With a more restrained Harry, 37, peering over her shoulder, the Duchess of Sussex, 40, was in high spirits as she peered and waved out the window.

Before their arrival in the UK earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly promised the Queen that they would keep a low profile and only appear at public events.

Because they are no longer working royals, the pair was denied a spot on the Buckingham Palace balcony with senior members of the Royal Family yesterday.

Instead, they were seen from a balcony on Horse Guards Parade, taking in the sights.
