Happy Jele’s future at Orlando Pirates | New update

After The South African website reached out to both camps for comment, there is a new update about Happy Jele’s future with the Orlando Pirates.

According to recent speculations, the experienced defender may depart the Soweto giants. In June, there were reports that Jele would signed a new one-year contract with Pirates.

The South African then got in touch with Jazzman Mahlakgane, Jele’s business manager, who acknowledged that he was waiting for Pirates to respond before directing us to them.

“Have you spoken to Pirates? I think they are the right people to speak to. We are waiting to hear from them. Talk to them and hear what they have to say about Happy’s situation,” Mahlakgane exclusively told this publication.

The South African then got in touch with Floyd Mbele, the Pirates’ administrative officer, who stated he will just return to work on Monday because he was on leave.

Mbele claimed that because of his absence, he is not currently up to date on all of the happenings in the Pirates camp.

“I am not sure what is going on at the moment because I’m on leave. I am only going back to the office on Monday,” Mbele told this website’s sport desk.

After conversing with Mbele, the South African turned to Mahlakgane for his response. Mahlakgane said that he would wait till Mbele returned to the office to learn the next steps about Jele’s future at Pirates.

“If that’s the case, then we will wait to hear from Pirates on Monday, and we will take it from there regarding Happy,” concluded Mahlakgane.
