Orlando Pirates provide a significant injury update prior to their match against Sundowns

Before their DStv Premiership matchup with Sundowns, Orlando Pirates released a favorable statement regarding two of their important players.

TWO Captain Innocent Maela and key central defender Nkosinathi Sibisi have both started training with the Buccaneers and are preparing to travel to Pretoria for Friday’s PSL match against Masandawana.

“Bucs captain Innocent Maela and fellow defender Nkosinathi Sibisi did not participate in the Carling Black Label Cup,” read a club statement.

The duo has since begun training and hopes to make an appearance at Loftus.

Sibisi and Maela have been the pillars of a Pirates defense that has allowed just seven goals in 13 DStv Premiership games this season.
