Governor Makinde Holds Meeting with New Parks Management System Leadership in Oyo State

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State held a meeting on Monday night with the newly appointed leadership of the Parks Management System (PMS), led by Chairman Tomiwa Omolewa.

The meeting took place at the governor’s private residence in Ikolaba.

According to sources, the meeting focused on restoring total sanity within the once troubled union in the state.

Key Members of the New PMS Leadership

Present at the meeting were key members of the newly constituted PMS leadership.

These included Secretary Kasali Lawal, Deputy Chairman Tajudeen Jimoh, Treasurer Kamardeen Idowu, Financial Secretary Tirimisiyu Olowoposi, Organizing Secretary Abass Amolese, and Auditor Hamidu Were.

Other members in attendance were First Vice-Chairman Abideen Ejiogbe, First Trustee Ganiyu Mojeed, Second Trustee Musa Alubankudi, Second Auditor Akinsola Tokyo, and Public Relations Officer Wasiu Emiola.

Background on PMS Reorganization

Governor Makinde had dissolved the previous leadership of the PMS, headed by Mukaila Lamidi (popularly known as Auxillary), last Monday.

The dissolution aimed to reorganize the union and integrate disgruntled members into its structure.

Police Action and Auxillary’s Status

Following the dissolution, the state Police Command declared Auxillary wanted after a raid on his residence resulted in the discovery of several arms, ammunition, and other dangerous weapons.

The police operation was conducted in response to security concerns related to the union.
