Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has stated that he has become financially poorer since taking office in 2019.

Alongside Governor Makinde, his deputy, Bayo Lawal, also submitted his Asset Declaration form.

This declaration process was witnessed by members of the Code of Conduct Bureau, including Rt. Hon. Taofeek Abdulsalam and Lagos State Director of the Bureau, Mrs. O. Popoola.

In a similar development, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, have also completed their Asset Declaration process.

They fulfilled the necessary requirements before assuming their respective offices.

The asset declaration was administered by Prof. Samuel Ogundare, a Board Member representing the Southwest Zone.
