She requests that individuals submit her their seX-files.
Ever fantasize about revealing your filthiest secrets to a celebrity? Perhaps not, but here’s your opportunity nonetheless. Gillian Anderson is soliciting letters revealing people’s wildest sexual dreams for her forthcoming book on the female sexual experience. In a new op-ed for “The Guardian,” a “Crown” actor described the X-rated project.
Anderson, 53, pleaded in his column, “Write to me and tell me what you think about when you think about sex” “I want women from all over the world and all of you who identify as women intrinsically to tell me what you think about when you think about sex.” “Whether you are having it alone yourself, with a partner, or with more than one person, it is the same. Tell me.”
However, the star of “Sex Education” is not collecting these lustful letters for her own “seX-files.” She intends to capture the sexual lives of women around the world in order to shed light on “women’s sexuality and what it means to be a woman today,” as reported by the Independent.
This collection of sexual correspondence, which will be published anonymously, was inspired by Nancy Friday’s revolutionary bestseller from 1973, ” My Secret Garden, ” which also collated letters discussing the feminine sexperience.
“I was shaken by its unfiltered and painful honesty,” wrote Anderson. These letters and interviews were extremely personal and honest.
Anderson stated that her sexposé was partially inspired by her Netflix series “Sex Education,” in which she portrayed the forthright sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn.
“Since ‘Sex Education’ aired, friends and journalists have asked me if women occasionally feel compelled to share their sexual problems or fantasies with me,” the actor explained in the Guardian. “However, they do not. Which ultimately inspired me to write a book…”
According to Anderson, part of the problem is that women want to communicate their deepest dreams but are afraid due to the social stigma associated with women discussing hanky-panky. She claims that a key-holder like herself is frequently required to “unlock” these “deepest, most intimate fears and fantasies.”
“This is the key,” she declared. “I would like to hear from you because when we discuss sex, we discuss womanhood and motherhood, infidelity and exploitation, consent and respect, fairness and egalitarianism, love and hate, pleasure and pain.”
The “First Lady” actress stated that no desire is too scandalous for the page. “Wherever you’re from, whoever you sleep with or don’t, whether you’re 18 or 80, I want to hear from you,” said the advocate for female empowerment. “Please begin your letter with ‘Dear Gillian.’”
Anderson stated that the collection of letters would likely be titled “Dear Gillian,” but a release date has yet to be determined.
Not for the first time has Anderson gone viral for discussing the female sexperience.
The dramatist humorously posted a photo of a pink “vagina-shaped” cloud in Turkey earlier this month, claiming it was “proof” that “God is a woman.”
