George Maluleka praises Romain Folz’s impact at Usuthu

George Malululka, a seasoned midfielder, says that Romain Folz is propelling Amazulu forward.

The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns player has witnessed the greatest coaching the PSL has to offer and believes that Folz is among the elite.

Folz assumed control after Brandon Truter was fired due to Amazulu’s dismal start to the term.

GEORGE MALULEKA HAILS ROMAIN FOLZ IMPACT
Maluleka feels that once Folz’s efforts begin to yield fruit, the outcomes will begin to improve.

Maluleka stated on the club’s website, “He is a good coach, and we get along well with him.”

You’ve seen how the squad has performed since he came over as coach, but we still have a lot of work to do, and we’re training hard right now.

“He sincerely desires success. The players and he are optimistic, and we look forward to the second part of the season.”

THE WORLD CUP DESTROYS AMAZULU MOMENTUM
George Maluleka believes that the World Cup break halted the momentum gained by Folz and Amazulu in the final weeks of November.

I also believe that the World Cup break came at the perfect time for uFohloza (Folz’s nickname), as he can now apply (his ideology) and tell us what he intends to accomplish in the future.

“We will be able to work on that as he is forcing us to workout extremely hard. He is quite enthusiastic about the game.”

Last week, as the season resumed, Amazulu played to a scoreless tie.

Usuthu completed the encounter with 10 players, but they will wish to enhance their performance in the near future.

On Sunday, January 8, Amazulu will meet Royal AM in a Durban derby at Chatsworth Stadium.

They are currently sixth in the PSL standings, but a loss may see them fall out of the top half of the table.
